Today was a bit of a tourist day. We caught the tube to Westminster to see Big Ben/London Eye/the Abbey etc etc. and took some photos, then took a bridge across the river.
We went for a bit of a walk and found the Tate Modern Art Gallery.
The building and the art were both pretty amazing. There was Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Andy Warhol and I recognised the Giacometti sculptures. The photographs from the New York subway were very cool, as was the collection of photos of people looking at paintings in other famous galleries.
We then walked across the Millenium Bridge to St Paul's and caught the tube back to Carluccio’s for a final lunch, because the other girls are now headed back to Australia.
I’m staying at Jules’ place for another night, and am catching the Eurostar to Paris tomorrow morning! So excited!! (bar the lugging the suitcase part)
