One Down One To Go...

Yesterday I had my charming 4-hour French exam for 'Histoire des Courants Politiques', which is the course on the history of political ideologies. We had to write two essays, and the first question nearly killed me. 'Y a-t-il une permanance de l'idée socialiste du milieu du XIXe siècle à la fin des 1990s'. Basically write a history of socialism. Fun. Anyway I now only have one exam left, and my study life isn't particularly interesting so I'm going to use the time to give a little recap of my reunion with Mum and Chels, who were worried they weren't going to get a mention.

This was the time period where I pretty much stopped blogging entirely. I was very excited to see them and we spent a lot of time walking around Paris enjoying the beautiful weather. One of my favourite stops is the Pont des Arts, where people go and put a lock on the railing to show their eternal love. Vomit.

We also visited Invalides, a.k.a Napoleon's tomb, which is the massive building in Paris with the gold dome.

We also had falafel one night in Le Marais, miam miam.

So now I should really really go and study, or more likely have a nap.
