Bok from Croatia!

Hi from Croatia! On Sunday after a quick flight to Zagreb, the capital, we jumped straight on a bus to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was very peaceful, and we were staying in a cute little house next to the woods. For dinner we went to a restaurant on what appeared to be a tiny ski run, and ordered some pizza. One turned out to be a 'jumbo' pizza, and it certainly was huge.

The following morning we forced ourselves to get up super early and had a quick breakfast outside the supermarket before heading to the lakes. It was stunning. We spent five hours walking along the boardwalks, past waterfalls and beautiful blue lakes. The only downside is that the whole park is UNESCO protected so it's forbidden to swim.

I couldn't believe how clear the water was, with tons of fish, and the whole park was so clean.

The Internet is very slow here and things are taking forever to upload so I will continue with the Croatian adventures when I find somewhere with a faster connection!
